Abstract: This working paper briefly defines a list of metadata and data services’ activities and functions (MaDSAF) derived from an analysis of the common features between relevant current standards. The headings are divided into four groups: digital object management, organisational infrastructure, technology and security. This second version of the MaDSAF incorporates and acknowledges the revisions derived from project activity and associated public consultation through the FIDELIS project. https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.15676188.
