Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: Supplementary Information Table S1 summarizes the dataset presented in the study Aboveground biomass relationship with canopy cover and vegetation to improve carbon change monitoring in rangelands. The database gather all the data collected during field work across 431 rangeland locations across Australia. The data include: Property ID, geographic coordinates, above-ground live biomass, below-ground biomass live, above-ground dead biomass, below-ground dead biomass, canopy cover (CA m2), canopy cover corrected for being underneath another canopy, canopy cover corrected for patchiness of cover, number of individual in each site, number of stem, total above-ground biomass, cleared, burnt, grazing, date of field work, soil color, grass cover (%), litter (<5 cm) cover (%), CWD (>5 cm) cover (%), soil moisture, approximate date of last rain, topography or slope (%), dominant ht_category, NVIS dominant PFT, shrubbiness density, and structural category
