Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: This study uses bibliometric analysis methods, with VOSviewer and CiteSpace software as tools, to examine the ethical development process following the implementation of "Mental Health Law of the People's Republic of China". It analyzes keyword clustering, timelines, and emerging trends. The findings highlight core issues in mental health ethics research, including the uniqueness of safeguarding the rights of individuals with mental disorders and the important role of ethical review. Additionally, emerging fields such as artificial intelligence and novel neurotechnologies are gaining increasing attention. However, domestic research in this area requires further deepening, with key priorities including strengthening ethical review mechanisms for vulnerable populations, the capacity building of ethics review committees, the optimization of mental health information systems, and the ethical analysis and evaluation of related health policies.
