Abstract: The understanding that technology makes learning engaging for students is not the only justification for using it in teaching. In the field of Geography, the use of technologies in teaching has played a relevant role in the construction of geographic knowledge. In this context, anaglyph images emerge as promising tools, capable of providing visual and sensorial experience, enriching the teaching-learning process. This work presents an activity that uses anaglyph images to teach morphoclimatic and phytogeographical domains, proposed by Aziz Ab’Saber, in basic education. Methodologically, it is characterized by being a practice report with a qualitative and descriptive approach. Furthermore, the work discusses the potential of using three-dimensional images in teaching geography. At least three benefits were identified in using these images: the use of accessible technology; the three-dimensional visualization of the landscape; and the encouragement of observation. It is noticeable that the three-dimensional visualization provided by 3D images enriches the spatial understanding of students.
