Abstract: This portfolio includes a combination of technical, analytical, and reflective work I've carried out across environmental data science, algorithmic fairness, and systems programming. My capstone project looks into predictors of carbon credit uptake in voluntary markets using beta regression, revealing the importance of project scope, registry, and mechanism. My CS 182 technical report explores fairness disparities in algorithmic decision-making, emphasizing racial imbalances and evaluating key metrics. Systems-level work includes a heap allocator implementation. A separate project models renewable energy decisions using a Markov Decision Process and Q-learning to optimize wind power transitions under uncertainty. A reflective narrative on academic identity (detailing a multidisciplinary path through Stanford’s Mathematical and Computational Science program) highlights my commitment to both technical and human-centered understanding.
