Economy and cybersecurity in the European Union

Abstract: The present study aims to answer a few questions related to the new cybersecurity and economic strategy of the European Union in recent years, but also to the future one, including public policies in the field, which the EU wants to implement. All of these ideas and issues have become a priority for the European Commission and EU Member States with new cyber-attacks that have multiplied during the COVID-19 pandemic, decreed by WHO in all areas of activity, following the imposition of the rapid process of digitization of states, in the middle of the period of fighting the virus.
