Abstract: This talk titled "HMC Surveys 2021-2024: Community perspectives on Open and FAIR data" was given at the first Open Science Day at the Geoforschungszentrum Potsdam (GFZ) on 4 March 2025. It provides an overview of key results from two survey approaches developed by the Helmholtz Metadata Collaboration (HMC), the HMC Community Survey 2021, and the HMC Data Professionals Survey 2024 for the Open Science communities at GFZ.
