Abstract: In this investigation, five Schiff bases (SB-1 to SB-5) were synthesized via condensation reactions between different aldehydes and primary amines, subsequently serving as intermediates for the synthesis of four thiazolidine derivatives (TH-1 to TH-5) through cyclization with cysteine. Structural elucidation was confirmed using advanced spectroscopic techniques.
