Abstract: "Iran's Knowledge" in 2016 provides an analysis of Iran's scientific publications from various perspectives. This work analyzes data from two global indices, "WOS" (Web of Science) and "Scopus," to monitor the scientific contributions of Iranians worldwide and consists of five key sections: comprehensive statistics on Iran's scientific publications, the contribution of institutions to scientific publications, Iran's role in the production of global and regional scientific publications, the ratio of scientific publications to fundamental indicators, and the impact of Iranian scientific publications. Although separate statistics on Iran's scientific publications in "WOS" and "Scopus" are provided in other reports within the country, "Iran's Knowledge" clarifies the overlap between these two databases for the first time and reports accurate statistics on Iran's scientific publications globally. This feature makes "Iran's Knowledge" a unique work that cannot be found elsewhere. In "Iran's Knowledge," the names of Iranian institutions are standardized, and their various name formats are identified and consolidated. Additionally, national collaboration among Iranian institutions is analyzed and reported in "Iran's Knowledge." Statistics on scientific publications based on various organizational affiliations (such as the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology; the Ministry of Health, Treatment, and Medical Education; Islamic Azad University; etc.) are also available in "Iran's Knowledge."
