Abstract: Pinnotheres haiyangensis Shen, 1932 Pinnotheres haiyangensis — Pregenzer and Morton 1990: 653. Taxonomy: Shen (1932b). Type: Holotype ñ in IOCAS. Type locality: Xingcun (as Hsingtsun), Shandong, China. Distribution: East Asia: coasts of China. Habitat: Commensal with or parasite of bivalves, hosts including Laternula marilina (Reeve, 1863) (Shen 1932b), and L. truncata (Lamarck, 1818) (Pregenzer and Morton 1990).
