Abstract: This deliverable presents the results of the photodetector selection and characterization for the targeted wavelength range of 1350 to 1550 nm, as required by the designed photonic crystal device. The report outlines the criteria for selecting detectors that are sensitive enough to measure the resonance shift of the photonic crystal sensor, included the required detection bandwidth, spectral coverage, and noise characteristics.
