Abstract: The article shows the improvement of methodological techniques of an individual approach to students at the lessons of fine art and its scientific value. Analyzed the level of student performance in the art classes, the activities of foreign and domestic scientists, teachers, artists. The implementation of the technology of an individual approach of students to the visual arts is based on the conditional grouping of students and the activation of the educational and creative activities of schoolchildren through lesson plans in the lessons of the visual arts, and the level of independent work in completing assignments.
