The Methodology for Identifying Intra-reservoir Flows and Assessing Their Impact on the Development of Oil Fields

Abstract: The article presents the methodology of detection of intra formation overflows at Kalamkas and Zhetybai fields. Geophysical and hydrodynamic data were analyzed, which allowed to identify 13 cells with wells with overflows at Kalamkas and 6 - at Zhetybai. The results obtained will help to increase the efficiency of water shut-off measures and optimize field development.
