Abstract: Hesperocorixa sahlbergi (Fieber, 1848) (Fig. 14) Material examined. ROMANIA: Brașov County: Veneția de Jos [pond], 45.8907°N 25.2201°E, 439 m a.s.l., 13.viii.2023, 2 ♂♂ 5 ♀♀. Sibiu County: Turnu RoȘu [pond], 45.6565°N 24.2979°E, 371 m a.s.l., 12.viii.2023, 1 ♂. Published records. Horváth (1897), Montandon (1907), Soós (1959, 1963), Sienkiewicz (1960), BucȘa (1972), Schneider (1973), Kis et al. (1974), Jansson (1986, in map), Ilie (2001, 2003, 2004, 2007), Ilie & Davideanu (2002), Ilie & Olosutean (2009), Ilie & Ban-Calefariu (2010). General distribution. From most of Europe (except northernmost areas) to central Siberia (Jansson 1986, 1995; Kanyukova et al. 2002; Fent et al. 2011; Boda et al. 2015; Stoianova & Simov 2016; Csabai et al. 2017; Shapovalov et al. 2018b; Protić & Nadaždin 2019; Berchi et al. 2023). In Romania, this species is known from the central part of the country (Fig. 14).
