Reflections of Narcissistic Personality Disorder on Work Life

Abstract: Narcissistic personality disorder characterized by self-admiration, arrogance, and condescension towards others. Numerous individuals may have narcissistic tendencies; however, narcissistic personality disorder is far more severe. Narcissistic qualities may manifest in regular individuals, but in narcissistic personality disorder, this phenomenon permeates all aspects of life. The narcissistic characteristics of these individuals are evident in their life, friendships, romantic connections, and all aspects of their everyday existence. Narcissistic personality disorder is more prevalent in males than in women. Seventy-five percent of all instances involve males.
