Abstract: ABSTRACT The human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) was unknown until the early 1980's when increasing numbers of cases of unusual opportunistic infections and Kaposi sarcoma in persons with lymphadenopathy in the setting of impaired cell-mediated immunity were reported. Therefore, this aim of this study is to assess the knowledge, attitude and practice among HIV/AIDS and forward suggestion to bridge gaps in current HIV issues in Burao Cit;/y Somalia, to our knowledge no research has yet been done on KAP of HIV/AIDS in Burao City Somalia.
