Abstract: The ClimAg model is a biophysical systems model that calculates the resource use and emissions of greenhouse gases (GHGs) and nitrogen pollutants from food, fiber, and biofuel production. The primary application of ClimAg is to calculate the climate impact of food and biofuel production systems. In addition to recurring GHGs, the model calculates the climate impact of carbon stock changes in plants and soils caused by land use.
