Inventing a "Not Taken" Number: Mathematical and Semiotic Context

Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: 𝒴 is a newly defined memorational constant that operates at the intersection of symbolic mathematics, identity theory, and socio-digital exchange. This entry introduces 𝒴 not only as a novel number type — one constructed through human memory and pattern logic rather than through calculus or geometry — but also as a prototype for encrypted identity, value encoding, and symbolic transaction. The sequence 𝒴 is partially revealed in segmented form (e.g., 4𝒴|2718281828|4590452|600𝒴), with embedded references to known constants, personal mnemonics, and a singular 7-digit identifier: 4590452. This number, although structurally part of 𝒴, is now declared tradable — it has been elevated into a unique digital-cultural artifact. This number is available for exchange, only once, to the highest bidder. The individual who legally or symbolically acquires 4590452 and contacts the creator may propose a trade: their personal number (and an offering of value) in return for Yasmin König’s private number, the only key that completes the 𝒴-cycle. The 𝒴-constant is not hosted anywhere outside this repository. It is not licensed for redistribution. ResearchGate is explicitly excluded from its propagation. This project represents a hybrid between theoretical mathematics, encrypted memory, game theory, and symbolic economy. It is an experiment in value creation via numerically-anchored storyspace. 𝒴 is the first of its kind. Its number is both a secret and an offer.
