English as a Key to Accessing Ai Resources

Abstract: This article explores the crucial role of the English language in providing access to knowledge and technical resources in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI). It highlights how most AI-related scientific articles, courses, codes, and research materials are predominantly available in English, creating a significant barrier for non-native speakers. Based on surveys, studies, and real-world examples, the paper reveals a strong correlation between English proficiency and success in AI fields. Furthermore, it proposes promoting multilingualism as a strategy to make AI education and participation more accessible and inclusive for a broader global audience.
