Abstract: This study explores the challenges in the recruitment and selection process at Careernet Technologies,Coimbatore. With increasing competition for skilled talent, organizations face issues such as talent shortages,technological disruptions, and candidate disengagement. The research analyzes the effectiveness of current hiring strategies, the impact of AI and applicant tracking systems (ATS), and the influence of candidate experience, diversity, and compliance on recruitment outcomes. Data collected from HR professionals, recruiters, and hiring managers provides insights into gaps and inefficiencies. The study offers practical recommendations to streamline hiring processes, enhance workforce planning, and align recruitment practices with industry standards.
