Abstract: Relevance of the research topic. The development of agriculture and ensuring food securityin the current conditions is of significant importance for Ukraine. This is due to the specialization ofthe Ukrainian economy and the necessity of Ukraine's integration into the global division of labor. Fairpricing, the multiplicative balancing of demand and supply for agricultural products, and their promotionon global markets can be facilitated by an effective commodity exchange market. The numerousobstacles Ukraine faces on this path highlight the need for scientific study of the issues related to theorganization of the commodity exchange market for agricultural products.The aim of the work is a comprehensive review of the features of organizing the commodityexchange market for agricultural products in Ukraine.Research objectives. To justify the problems of building an effective commodity exchange marketfor agricultural products and propose directions for their resolution.Research methods. The approach in the study is based on methods of generalization, comparison,systematization, induction, deduction, synthesis, and scientific abstraction. The information base forwriting the article consists of works by leading scholars, reports from commodity exchanges, andgovernment regulators.Main research findings. The article justifies the necessity for the development of the commodityexchange market for agricultural products. It describes the key regulatory foundations for its regulationand the evolutionary aspects of its development. The features of the instruments of the commodityexchange market for agricultural products are outlined, and their comparison is made. The stimulatingrole of agricultural notes and agricultural receipts in the development of the commodity exchangemarket is characterized. Price aspects of the commodity exchange market for agricultural productsare explored. The article also identifies the barriers to the establishment of the commodity exchangemarket for agricultural products in Ukraine and proposes directions for them.Field of application of the results.
