Abstract: CLIMOS will generate science-based predictions, actions and policy-relevant recommendations to mitigate climate change-induced emergence and spread of sand fly-borne diseases (SFBDs). This will be achieved by providing: Precision vector and infection surveillance methods and campaigns networks across 14 countries, and Created big data time series (on vectors, disease, micro and macroclimate, environment and health, and on infection risk). A central pillar of the CLIMOS project is Early Warning System (EWS) - innovative technical solutions for vector monitoring based on project collected data, distribution and prediction for SFBDs based on weather, and sand fly presence, which will be released as a European Commission ISA (Interoperability solutions for public administrations, businesses and citizens) JoinUP open-source tool for public and healthcare.
