Abstract: Here, the data used in article "Multiple Surge Trigger Mechanisms of Compound Glacier, Implications of Recent Surges of Aru Glacier, Western Tibetan Plateau" were given. In this database, "Glacier_Outlines_of_Aru_Glacier_1972_1972_2022" folder contains the outlines of Aru Glacier from 1972 to 2022. "Front_Position_Change_of_Aru_Glacier_1972_2022.xlsx" is the changes in glacier length from 1972 to 2022 of Aru Glacier.
