Abstract: This study, tasked by the Knowledge Centre for Earth Observation (KCEO) of the Joint Research Center (JRC), aims to evaluate the current status of the EuroGEO Marine Action Group with a particular focus on the health component, examining its links to International/national/local policies, and developing a strategy to empower the Action Group within EuroGEO. The objective is to assess the current status of the Action Group, potential contributions to policies, state-of-the-art data capabilities and services offered by members and key players in the field, and their role in the evolution of the Copernicus.
