Abstract: Given the importance of health and hygiene, the necessity for a thesaurus in this field has been felt to aid in the storage and retrieval of information and documents. The present thesaurus has been translated and compiled using the multilingual thesaurus for health promotion from the European Commission. While this thesaurus contains a significant volume of conventional terms, it may not be able to address all cases and terms presented in it due to the rapid and continuous evolution and expansion of the field related to health promotion.
