Abstract: Three Gram-negative, rod-shaped strains (J1-12ᵀ, M3-11ᵀ, M6-14ᵀ) were isolated from paddy soils in Korea. Phylogenetic, genomic, and chemotaxonomic analyses supported their distinction from related taxa, leading to the proposal of three novel species: Flavobacterium oryziterrae sp. nov., Flavobacterium oryzagri sp. nov., and Flavobacterium oryzicola sp. nov.
