The Effects of Conflicting Covid-19 Conspiracy Theories and on Vaccination Intention
Year: 2020
Type: preprint
Abstract: This master thesis investigates the effect of two different conspiracy theories about the Covid-19 pandemic (that it is a hoax and that it is man-made bioweapon) on participants' intention to get vaccinated. The research questions of this study are: 1) Will exposure to conspiracy theories decrease participants' likelihood to get vaccinated for coronavirus? 2) Will exposure to conflicting conspiracy theories lead to the same outcome?
