Abstract: Today's society is a knowledge society, where innovation and discoveries are absolutely necessary.Knowledge serves as the driving factor of society, especially since today knowledge is no longer only a human mental process, but also one that animals, and artificial intelligence, and intelligent robots, and the Internet have.The purpose of this study is to highlight the fact that the modern notion of "educated and well-informed man" presupposes not only a permanent and healthy informational competition with other members of society, but also with oneself.This implies the fact that human freedom and happiness can be acquired not only unconsciously, but also consciously, through learning, through cultivation, by becoming more elevated tomorrow than today, because the knowledgeable, well-documented human is not only stronger, but also capable to face current challenges.That is why the constant search and the presence of doubt in what he thinks, the joy of a conscious interpretation of reality will allow him to exploit his potential to the maximum, and this can ensure his true happiness.
