Abstract: Authors have been studying health monitoring and anomaly detection methods for artificial satellites. So far, we have developed a monitoring method based on the probabilistic dimensionality reduction and clustering and have conducted a verification testing of this method by applying it to SDS-4 operation. This paper explains the lessons learned in this testing and introduces several plans of improving or complementing the proposed method.
