Abstract: This extended abstract gives an overview of the\nresearch activities that will be carried out in the SANSA project, \nfunded by the EU under the H2020 Programme. In particular, it\ndetails the objectives and benefits of the proposed spectrum\nefficient self-organizing hybrid terrestrial-satellite backhaul\nnetwork, and briefly describes the technologies that will make\nthis solution possible.
