Abstract: The purpose of this study was to explore the successful reintegration process as experienced by men of color. Seven men of color from the County of San Joaquin in the State of California, participated in this study. Several factors were identified by the participants as having a positive influence on their reintegration process. The identified factors include family, employment, community based organizations, support groups, and spirituality.
