Abstract: The current crisis in building constructionmaterials has encouraged the need for many innovationsin developing new materials with alternative rawmaterials that are available sustainably. The concept ofsustainability in the development of constructionmaterials is needed to maintain the existence of thesematerials so that their availability can be guaranteed fornow and in the future. This study describes lightweightbricks as an alternative material to replace red bricks, which are already rare and difficult to obtain. Red bricksmade of clay are difficult to make due to the crisis ofproductive land as a source of raw materials. The existingproductive lands are widely used for primary needs suchas agriculture, plantations, infrastructure, and buildings. The composition of lightweight brick materials witheconomic doses can maintain the availability of rawmaterials for some time to come. The components thatare also planned can be replaced by other materials if theyare no longer available at a certain time in the future.Developing construction materials by consideringsustainable and environmentally friendly concepts canreduce the negative impacts of damage to social, economic, and environmental aspects.
