L'Inde dans la mondialisation pharmaceutique Sud-Sud
Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: India is today the leading exporter of pharmaceutical products from the Global South. This position is the result of a strategy aimed at overcoming the dependency inherited from the British colonial period. Its industry is supported by a dense network of companies of various sizes, organized into specialized industrial districts. India plays a key role in global access to low-cost medicines, particularly in Africa, where it relies on trade networks structured around the diaspora.
