Abstract: This paper deals with the concept of phenomenological organ, its profits for psychopathology and its specific focus on subjectivity, which becomes dispersed and spaced. We thus try to pay heed to the heterogeneity, dynamicity and change of symptoms. Disperse subjectivity comes with some unity in experience. Hence, the concept of phenomenological organism is introduced, and its relation with the impersonal ego or ipse, a mainstream concept in contemporaneous phenomenological psychopathology, is studied. Organ and organism thus become the logical innards of psychopathology. Lastly, some examples of their application to psychiatry are briefly analyzed. In the second part of the paper, we will deal with some concepts necessary to strengthen this psychopathological anatomy.
