Validation and analysis of network slicing capability based on RB resource reservation
Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: With the advancement of 5G technology, network slicing has become crucial for the independent operation of services, secure isolation, and the assurance of service level agreement (SLA). Based on this, the validation and analysis of network slicing capabilities focusing on resource block (RB)-based resource reservation in 5G networks were conducted. The implementation mechanisms and functional principles of RB resource reservation slicing were studied, and its advantages over priority guarantee methods such as 5G QoS identifier (5QI) were quantitatively verified through field trials. The potential value of network slicing in various application scenarios was discussed, providing theoretical support and practical guidance for the further commercialization and industry application of 5G network slicing.
