Catástrofes hídricas ibéricas
Year: 2024
Type: article
Abstract: This compilation encompasses most (if not all) events of floodings in the Iberian Peninsule and its islands since the first records in the first century AC, that resulted in human deaths. These victims are numbered and the causes of floodings, mostly local and man-made, are reviewed. Unfortunately, they will be repeated in the future, unless some preventive, socio-economic measures would be undertaken.
