The study titled Özgür ve Kutsal, which is built on the language of criticism and possibility put forward by critical pedagogy, is addressed with the aim of developing perspectives on the reconsideration of the education and training processes related to religious education in Turkey. In the work we have analysed, it is examined whether critical pedagogy, which emerged as a reaction against both traditional and modern educational approaches in this direction, can be a reference to a model of religious education that can liberate the individual and make him a subject of society.
