Abstract: Nowadays there are over 35 million people living with HIV infection among the world, with over one million deaths annually among this same cause. The life expectancy depends in the proper adherence to the combined antiretroviral treatment (CART) which reflects in the adequate virology control. The evidence shows that the inadequate treatment adherence as well as the poor virology control could be associated with stigma and anxiety-depression symptoms in patients living with HIV infection
