Abstract: Colorectal cancer is the highest cause of cancer-related death in the West. c-Src protein levels are elevated in colon cancer cells compared to non-malignant cells, In addition, Src signalling and transduction are directly involved in cell growth, cell cycle, malignant transformation and cell migration, providing opportunities for inhibition of Src.
