Abstract: In addition to her teaching and scholarship, Ms. Price works as a staff attorney with the Hamilton County Clerks of Courts Help Center (the Help Center), where she provides same-day limited legal representation to tenants facing eviction.The Help Center's Limited Representation Pilot launched in September 2024 and was featured in the opening panel for UC Law School's 2024 Access to Justice Symposium, titled Local Innovations in Eviction Mitigation.Since the Pilot's launch, Ms. Price has filed more than 480 limited appearances on behalf of tenant-defendants in Hamilton County-all of which help to inform the content and recommendations of this Article.Ms. Price extends her immense gratitude to Cincinnati City Councilmember Meeka Owens, who has led the charge on eviction prevention and Access to Counsel in Cincinnati, and to Nick Zingarelli, Director of the Help Center.This Article would not be possible without the groundbreaking work of the Help Center and continuing dedication of policymakers in Cincinnati to understand and mitigate the hardships of eviction
