Shoah y antisemitismo: rescatar la herencia judía en el cristianismo después de Auschwitz
Year: 2024
Type: article
Abstract: [EN[ This article takes as its starting point the significance of the Shoah and modern anti-Semitism as a civilisational rupture in order to rethink and update the relationship of Christians to Jews and Judaism. This significance is being tested by the current situation in the Gaza territories in the aftermath of the October 7 attack and Israel's response. The challenge for Christians is to revisit that relationship in the light of our involvement in the processes that led to the Holocaust and to rescue the Jewish heritage in Christianity, while acknowledging that silencing this heritage contributed to make the Holocaust possible
