Abstract: In this study, we characterized and compared the bacterial communities in the honeydew of two aphid species over time using next-generation sequencing (NGS). Cultivable bacteria were isolated from honeydew, identified, and prepared as bacterial solutions for use in behavioral assays with natural enemies.
