Abstract: The article examines the raising of labour productivity and of the quality of the work performed, the provision of safety and the reduction of the time spent working with technical documents through the electronic management of technical documentation. The possibilities of developing electronic document management in modern conditions are described: reliable monitoring of devices, raising information security requirements, reducing the processing time of technical documents. The main tasks of the automated system for registering and controlling railway automation and telemechanics devices ensure the continuous monitoring of the devices. Automated database technologies for monitoring and registering railway automation and telemechanics devices serve to facilitate the process of managing all data flows.
