Healthcare Providers: Perception of Social Determinants of Health

Abstract: Our study will be a survey of the perception among health care providers on the importance of social determinants of health. We will ask healthcare professionals to rank the importance of certain factors that contribute to health (see study documents for a full list of items). It will also examine the extent to which healthcare providers deal with social factors, and potential barriers to addressing social factors, within a clinical setting.
