Current trends in the implementation of innovative digital technologies in the activities of higher education institutions of Ukraine

Abstract: The article is devoted to the study of modern trends in the implementation of innovative digital technologies in the activities of higher education institutions of Ukraine. It is established that thanks to digital technologies, students of higher education gain knowledge and skills using various innovative toolsthat ensure effective learning of the material. It has been proven that universities cannot be simple followers of social change, but must take the initiative and introduce changes in such areas as the development of future-oriented thinking; formation of an innovatively oriented personality capable of self-education and creative thinking; implementation of innovations; development of science-intensive areas of the economy; fighting climate problems, poverty and ensuring gender equality. The key task of higher education is the formation of a dynamic concept of higher education in the interests of sustainable development.It has been studied that in recent years, the pandemic and the war have disrupted everyday life and the educational system of Ukraine, which has led to changes in the educational process, the need to organize training for Ukrainians who have left for neighboring countries or displaced within their own country, and even the closure of higher education institutions education It is substantiated that precisely under such conditions the use of digital technologies in the learning process has become practically an alternative to traditional face-to-face learning, especially in border universities. The areas of use of digital technologies by institutions of higher education were considered, namely: digitization of management activities; digitizationof the educational process; digitization of scientific activity; involvement of stakeholders in digitalization of educational activities. Special attention is paid to the role of digitalization of the educational process in the conditions of martial law, emphasis is placed on border universities. In order to identifytrends in the influence of military actions on the work of the military service centers of a specific territory, all military service centers were divided into three groups: military service centers located in the regions that are part of the combat zone; areas close to the war zone; regions located in the northwestern part of the territory of Ukraine. Based on the data on admission to higher education institutions during 2021-2024, it was concluded that the use of digital technologies in the organization of education has achieved its success, higher education institutions of the frontline areas have established a full-fledged educational process and, accordingly, have not lost their entrants.
