Demographic Groups’ Use of Agency Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) Services: A Quality Improvement Project to Identify and Engage Local Underserved Populations

Abstract: This quality improvement project intended to identify populations of adult intimate partner violence (IPV) survivors in Spokane County, Washington, by race/ethnicity and sex who are underserved by a local victim service agency and provide action-oriented, evidence-informed recommendations that the agency may utilize to increase engagement with these local underserved populations. Methods used include secondary data analysis, timeline creation, literature review, and interpretation of quantitative and qualitative data analysis. This was a capstone project designed to demonstrate multiple public health competencies.
