Abstract: This work explores the prospects of creating slippery liquid-infused porous surfaces (SLIPS) based on polymer films. The main stages of surface formation are outlined, including the creation of micro- and nanostructures and their infusion with lubricating liquids. Two approaches are analyzed: the laser processing method followed by the use of metal templates for thermoforming, and the direct deposition method using dispersions. The laser-based approach is justified as more suitable for scalable production and compatibility with extrusion-grade polymer films. The need for further research into texture transfer and the micro-rheological behavior of polymer melts in micron-scale channels is emphasized.
