Abstract: The refugee crisis due to conflicts, persecution, or natural catastrophes is most prevalent in majorly Muslim countries including Syria, Palestine, Afghanistan, and Yemen. This is a crisis which is both moral and religious for the entire Muslim Ummah, teaching that the oppressed or the needy must be supported. The Quran and Hadith focus on protecting the honor of the Muslims urging them to protect the displaced people. The life of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, his Hijrah and how the Ansar aided the Muhajirun after Hijrah serve as lessons on how to help refugees today. Even so, there are challenges like lack of cooperation, inadequate finances, and political problems but there are chances to make it better. Major areas include strengthening humanitarian assistance systems and policies, integrating education, skills for the refugees, and urging rich Muslim nations to assume leadership positions. The Ummah must respond in love and indeed, work together to resolve the refugee crisis in a more practical manner performing their moral and religious obligations as they do so.
