Impact of photoselective nets on phenolic compound content in redlum apples
Year: 2025
Type: conference-paper
Abstract: [Excerpt] Photoselective nets are a novel agricultural method for enhancing crop quality by modifying light quality and exposure. First introduced in fruit crops in the 1990s, these nets act as a physical barrier and filter for sunlight, influencing factors like shading, temperature, and frost reduction. This study focused on understanding how these nets affect phenolic compounds in Gala Redlum apples grown under five types of nets: Grey, IRIDIUM® Yellow, IRIDIUM® Red, Black, and Krystal.
