Abstract: Sedentary lifestyles are a prevalent issue in today’s globalized society, particularly among adolescents, where they contribute to chronic non-communicable diseases. It is well established that physical activity serves as an important tool to improve physical health and overall quality of life during the critical stage of adolescence. This study aims to analyze the relationship between physical activity and quality of life in middle adolescence (ages 14-17) through a systematic review. For this analysis, a comprehensive documentary search and critical review of studies from major databases, including Dialnet, Redalyc, Scielo, ScienceDirect, Latindex, and Google Scholar, were conducted, all in accordance with the PRISMA methodology. The results showed a positive relationship between regular physical activity and quality of life, with physical, psychological, and social benefits for those who engage in it consistently. As conclusions, it was determined that maintaining healthy habits such as practicing PA, good nutrition and rest contributes to quality of life, preventing diseases and improving self-esteem and emotional stability. This balance strengthens interpersonal relationships and lays the foundation for a healthy and balanced adult life.
